Is NIELIT Gangtok best in Gangtok?

<p>The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, founded the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Gangtok, as one of its units. To increase employment prospects and provide quality labor at a reasonable cost, the institute provides training and educational services.</p><p>NIELIT Gangtok currently offers close to 20 UG and PG, short-term and non-formal courses. Short-term courses are available at NIELIT Gangtok to promote digital literacy and improve people's IT knowledge. All year round, the institute accepts applications for its short-term courses. SC/ST/Physically Challenged and female students who are applying for DOEACC level courses can opt for the "Protshahn Puruskar Scheme". To avail of this scheme they have to clear all the papers on their first attempt and their annual family income should not exceed more than 1 Lakh.&nbsp;</p>
