Is NIFT a very tough exam?

<p>NIFT is a national-level design entrance exam conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology to shortlist candidates for the NIFT 2024 participating institutes. The NIFT entrance exam is conducted in two parts:</p><ul><li><strong>Part I -</strong> It comprises the written exams - GAT and CAT. The GAT paper is mandatory for all programs, while only BDes and MDes candidates need to take the CAT paper.</li><li><strong>Part II -</strong> Candidates are shortlisted for Part II based on their performance in the written exams. For BDes candidates, Part II comprises a Situation Test, whereas PG candidates need to appear in a Personal Interview. The only exception is the BFTech program, where the admission merit list will be prepared solely based on GAT scores.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p>The FINAL score of NIFT 2024 for the rest of the programs will be prepared by giving weightage to the written exams and Situation Test/ Personal Interview.</p><p>To be able to secure good marks in the NIFT exam, candidates can read the points below to get good results:</p><ul><li>Get familiar with the NIFT 2024 syllabus and exam pattern</li><li>Plan according to the syllabus</li><li>Take notes for a better understanding</li><li>Solve previous year&rsquo;s question papers</li><li>Take sufficient rest</li></ul>
