Yes, NIOS Certificate is accepted in Canada. You can get a student visa for Canada. -
The NIOS board is valid for Canada but it is not valid in all the Canadian colleges. Many Canadian Colleges do not take it as valid proof for taking the admission as it is considered inferior to the other Indian boards like ICSE or CBSE or UP Board. NIOS Certificate value in Canada is low in comparison to the United States. Those students who have done their senior secondary level from the NIOS and now they are planning to get admission to the colleges of Canada, will have to provide them with an authentic reason to justify their open school learning instead of formal learning.
