Is NIT Coimbatore hard to get admission to?

<p>NIT Coimbatore is not difficult to get admission at. The Institute offers admission based on merit and entrance, depending on the course. Shortlisted candidates then receive TNEA counselling for admission to any of the BTech specialisation. Similarly, for admission to MBA or MTech, candidates are shortlisted based on TANCET score. After the merit or entrance based shortlisting, candidates are summoned to fulfill remaining of the selection round and receive the final admission.</p>
