<p>NIT Jalandhar has been ranked 46 among the top Engineering Institutes in India by NIRF 2023. NIT Jalandhar offers a four-year B.Tech course. This course is offered across 11 specialisations. Admission to BTech at NIT Jalandhar is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for a national-level entrance exam, I. e. <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-exam">JEE Main</a> followed by <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/josaa-counselling">JoSAA</a> Counselling. This exam is conducted by the NTA every year in two sessions. Further, the seats that remain unfilled in JoSAA such seats are filled with CSAB Counselling. To get admission to this course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and qualify for the respective entrance exam. As per the placement drive 2023, the average package offered to BTech graduates is INR 12.44 LPA. About 701 students were placed during the NITJ placement 2022-23 and 49 job offers were offered above INR 25 LPA.</p>
