National Institute of Technology, Sikkim was established in 2010. As per the ranking, the institute falls in the 151-200 rank band, as per NIRF 2023 rankings of Tech Colleges. NIT Sikkim has been recognised as an 'Institution of National Importance' by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India. Talking about the NIT Sikkim placement rate for the BTech programme, it offers a decent package.
