    NIT Srinagar is one of the eminnet institute which offers quality education to the students. It is one of the 18th Reginal Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Govt. of India during the 2nd Plan. The institute was recognised by UGC and AICTE.  NIRF has ranked NIT Srinagar 79 under the Engineering category in 2024. The highest package offered at NIT Srinagar was INR 36.50 LPA.
