NIT Surathkal has increased its intake capacity due to various factors, but it has not impacted the quality of education and the placement opportunities offered at the institute. During the 2023 placements, NIT Surathkal witnessed a 93% placement rate for its BTech students. Further, the highest and average package offered to the BTech students stood at INR 54.75 LPA and INR 18.26 LPA, respectively.
