Is NIT, Warangal or Rourkela best for EEE course? Which college has the highest package for EEE course?

Go for NIT Warangal, the packages and placements are good there.

NIT-W CSE is way better than NIT-R but you need to take a better look at the placement stats which are not clearly mentioned in one of the answer here. Don't believe in the placement stats as they are highly bloated. There is other side too. The highest package offered was 40 LPA (CTC) but that was an international offer (the company may or may not visit next year and hope you know PPP concept). Domestic the highest was 28.5 LPA (CTC). CSE grads have even ended up with packages lower than 5 LPA. Only one student has gone for Ph.D. from CSE. Packages are always given in CTC while the in-hand figures differs and are way too less especially when the packages are high. For a package of the range of 20-30 LPA, you receive 12-14 LPA in hand (before tax deduction), rest are stock options (which take 23 years depending on company), bonuses and other one time pay. Same way the average is calculated on CTC. The reality is quite different.

Definitely, NIT Warangal is best choice because it ranks among top 2 NITs. So you can guess how good will the placement be there. It is among the highest placement providing NIT. For EEE, the highest package in last year was around 18 LPA.
