Is NMIMS a well-recognised institute in Mumbai for MBA ?

All full-time MBA courses do not necessarily run for 2 years, the smallest full-time program I am aware of is offered by INSEAD which is about 10 months long. A full-time course means, you are attending a classroom lecture based course, with a full-time on (near) campus stay and you are not employed
