The NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) Diploma course is 2-year course, although its validity differs. It is approved by the National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) & is valid up to 2 years from the date of completion of the course. But some institutions may run 1-year NTT Diploma program, which was also approved in NCTE. Tuition fee for these courses cost between INR 20,000 and INR 50,000 per year depending on the particular institution. When one finishes the course, one can practice as a nursery or proceed to the University and do a Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) degree.
