    Hi,
First, you need to score well in CAT exam and then interview. You can get admission in any top college.
    Best of luck.

No, but getting a call requires a high score in CAT. For final selection, your previous academics, experience and essay writing ability is also considered.

No, CAT is not the only factor to get admission in IIMs. You would not be invited for interview, unless you perform well in CAT (Or any other exam like XAT, SNAP, etc.).

Yes a good CAT score is a must for admissions in IIMs.
  • First, a good CAT score. If you clear the CAT cut off, then you have to go through a group discussion or a written ability test, and then personal interview, which is very important. Also, your past academic records must be good.

No, CAT score is just a filter to filtrate the meritorious from the bulk and the, you have to go with 10th, 12th and graduation marks check. After all of this, PI and WAT session is held to take admission that you need to be good in all.

No, a decent score in CAT will give you a preference to get a call from them. Every college will look at your profile and class 10th and 12th scores. So, CAT score is not the only thing but a major part of the composite score that gets you the interview calls from institutes.
