Is only maths required to be good in 11th to pursue software engineering?

In case you are planning to do software engineering (B.Tech CSE/ IT/ Software Engineering) then in addition to maths you are advised to take physics and chemistry also. If you want to do BCA then maths is the only mandatory subject.
