And choose you b-school if it has excelled in Curriculum: It must be based on industry consultations. Teaching pedagogy: Must be focused on practicals, experiential learning techniques are the best. Entrepreneurship projects: To proficiency on multitasking and managing profit centers. Industry interface: to have hands on knowledge of situations in real time. Internships and other projects: For purely practical corporate exposure and research orientation. Dear aspirant, No degree or professional qualification (s) is enough to get you a good job. I have seen people with impeccable educational qualifications being absolute failures while people with mediocre qualifications did extremely well in their careers. An MBA, unless done from a Tier-I or at least a Tier-II B-School, may not even get you an interview call if you are a fresher. Once you have a minimum of 5 years of work experience, organizations are more concerned about your work profile, the organisation you are working with and, of course, your achievements. Even students from premier institutions, such as the top IITs and IIMs, might be different when it comes to knowledge and competence. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance and work experience etc. The placements are tremendous and you'll get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 5.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS and CISCO etc. ). Recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Every year, around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU.
