    It is one of the top universities in Bihar. Since its inception, over 1,000 companies have taken part in the university placements drive. The top recruiters of Patna University during recent years have been industry giants like ITC Group, Futures Group, Swatantra Micro Finance, Wipro, Azim Premji Foundation, etc. Patna University offers admission to UG, PG and PhD courses in regular and distance education mode. The university offers courses in multiple streams such as Management, Arts, Science, etc.
