    Yes, Patna University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with B Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Moreover, the university has over 31 PG departments, 10 constituent colleges, and four institutes. Additionally, Patna University is spread across 181.58 acres of land.
