Is percentage like 85% enough for admission or because if competition it becomes 95%+ ?

Yes, mostly more than 80% would be enough for you to get admission in B.Sc in CS in VIT Vellore. Thinking that you got more than 85% you can get a seat. -
VIT, Vellore is one of the best college in the list of private colleges. Also, VIT takes its own entrance exam. So if you want admission only on the basis of merit of class 12 score you need to score above 95% for CSE.
