The university has secured 59th position under the 'University' category by the NIRF Ranking 2023. Talking about the Periyar University placements, according to media reports, a total of 20 students of the Energy Science and Technology Department received a package of INR 3.6 LPA during Periyar University placements 2023.
Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology offers good placements too.
