Is PESIT South campus going to become autonomous and come under PES University?

It will be but we can't predict either this year or next, but it's more likely not this year.
Confirmation can be achieved in like 20 more days, as we'll see if the seats are provided through COMEDk (not PESU) and if PESSAT (it's PESU), as KCET will be common for both.

It's Unlikely, but you can try. There is a lesser chance, see if you want it so bad, there are management seats.
And if you do it, go for PESU.
But believe me, NIE is a good option for ME, PESIT isn't the best place. PES is brand for CS.

As for now there is no such news. This may happen in the upcoming years. You can contact the college for any further details.
