In India degree is provided by University and recognition of university solely con\mes in the preview of UGC AICTE is approved only institute who offers the technology , Management, HM, Pharmacy courses.

Hellow, First thing no university required AICTE approval. It is approved by UGC, AIU and Ministry of HRD. Dont worry about AICTE approval if it is a univeristy.
The second thing Karunya University is now applied for AICTE approval
