Master of computer application (MCA) is a 2 years postgraduate degree course which aims at providing specialisation in computer science.
Post graduate diploma in computer application (PGDCA) is 1-2 years course aimed at providing students with professional, technical and communication

if you want to go in programming then MCA is best for you otherwise you can choose PGDCA.
