    Hello Sneha,
    Basics of management education are the same . Pgdm syllabus is considered much more contemporary and industry oriented, subject to the college one choses, as compared to MBA curriculum. Pgdm is slowly gaining momentum on better career prospects than a University MBA degree , syllabus for which is generally reviewed every 5 yrs. Here MITSOB offers PGDM which is based On Case Method Pedagogy, where cases is based on pased industrial scenario which makes you more competent for the industries.

    Hello Sneha,
    There is no considerable difference between PGDM and MBA. Post Graduate Diploma in Management is offered by autonomous institutes (which are not affiliated with any university) and they cannot offer MBA degree. Institutes such as IIM's, XLRI's and such other institutions offers PGP degree or PGDM since they are autonomous, whilw Symboisis, NMISMS offers MBA course being university. Mostly these autonomous business schools are approved by AICTE including our college, MIT School of Business. And advantage of having autonomous institutes is that we can design our own curriculum according to the requirement in the industry with
