Is PGDM in Great Lakes equivalent to regular MBA? Can I apply for government jobs and pursue Ph.D?

For now we are not eligible, but after our course complete 5 years, college is going to apply for that and we are expecting it to be done by 2018. After that all the students who has completed their graduation from great Lakes will be eligible.

PGDM from anywhere is equivalent to MBA.If wish to study further you could opt for EXECUTIVE MBA after gaining some rich work experience after PGDM rather than to do with Phd.EXECUTIVE MBA offers top positions in a company like CEO with exponential increase in salary packages.
