First of all Every Management aspirant gets confused whether to do PGDM masters degree or diplom. Now let me set the record straight.! MBA is purely a Master degree where you learn or study conventional subjects in Business stream. It's a totally University Programme. Whereas PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) is the college programme . Actually PGDM is a very Industry Intensive programme where there are regular company interactions and you get a deep knowledge about the organization and you can go for higher studies after PGDM.

Hi Abhishek, PGDM means Post Graduation Diploma in Management. So its a diploma course actually but it hardly matters. Even IIMs (Best B-Schools in India) will provide PGDM and not degree.
Yes there are lot of opportunities after PGDM. You can persue Phd in the area of your interest and then Post Doc. You can also go abroad to earn double MBA. It all depends upon one's interest.
