Is PGDM through distance mode from Welingkar eligible or UGC NET?

Hi, I have completed my first year of PGDM-Finance from Welingkar Institute of Management. Please tell me if distance learning programmes are eligible for UGC net exam as on UGC site it was mentioned that we have to assess the equivalence of diploma/certificate to its Masters degree level.

Yours is distance learning or regular? If yours is a regular programme, then you are definitely eligible for Ph.D. as Welingkar regular PGDM is accredited by AIU to the Master's degree programme. If it is a distance mode, then there is a question as I am myself pursuing distance programme and have the same question that I am eligible for UGC NET or not.
