Being studied from LPU I would like to say that LPU has very simple admission process when it comes to Ph.D. For admission to Ph.D. the criteria is 55% aggregates marks in your Masters and you have to qualify interview along with LPU NEST. Also LPU is the only university in India which gives multiple coursework options for Ph.D. (Part time) students. 1. 15 days course work (Dec) 2. 4 Days classes every month ( generally Thu-Sun) 3. Weekend classes (Sat-Sun) LPU has the most advanced labs dedicated to research work. Many labs are maintained by Cisco, Cadence. LPU also has Central Instrumentation Facility which is one of its kind. It has high end instruments and these instruments and facilities help the faculty members, research scholars and students to carry out globally competitive research in basic, applied and medical sciences. The Lab has many instruments like Powder X-ray diffractometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter, Density Meter, Viscometer, Probe Sonicator, Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer and much more. In Case of Ph.D. Part Time programme, applicants are required to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Dear aspirant, Nice to see you. Well, doing a Ph.D. is a good decision for future. I am pretty sure, It is very workaholic degree. Yes it is very worth-full degree if you are doing it from very reputed university in Punjab. Lovely professional university is a private and very famous university. One of my friend is doing Ph.D. from lpu. She told me about that the infrastructure, teaching skills, atmosphere, raking wise, activities etc. LPU provide Ph.D. part time and full time.
