Is Ph.d equivalent to b.ed? Can i apply in kendriya vidyalayas? i have done ph.d but not b.ed.
Sir, I have done Ph.d in Botany and have also cleared UGC-NET exam. I am a university topper gold medalist and a college topper too.But i havent done B.Ed. Am i eligible for PGT in Kendriya Vidyalayaz?

Not Ph.D is not equivalent to B.ed , Ph.D is a research degree , but in KV if there is require of B.ed then you have to do B.ed , i think in KV there is also require to clear CTET exam for Hindi, Science, English and some other only for Computer science and biotech there is no need to give exam

1. PhD is a doctorate and far above B.ED degree.
2. As to apply for the post of PGT in KV's, you need to have a post graduation degree in relevant discipline and a M.ED
3. Since you hold this valuable certificate and also have cleared the affluent NET exam, I may suggest you to go ahead with
