    Yes, it is a good branch, you can take this. I have completed my career with B.Tech (Plastics Technology) in CIPET, Chennai.
    Merits:
    1. Wide Scope.
    2. Job Guarantee in Plastic related core companies, even if you have less technical knowledge, because of less vacancies.3. Both soft works (Plastic Product Design & Plastic Mould Design) & hard works (Mould Machining, Processing Sides).4.     If you pursue it from CIPET-Chennai or Ahmedabad then it is a very good course for both girls and boys. The major recruiters are Minda Groups, Maruti Suzuki, KTM, etc. The package differs each year from college to college. But the average package remains at around 3 to 5 LPA.
