Polymer science and engineering is not a core branch. It is a branch which is incorporated from chemical engineering, material science and basic courses. It is coordinated by chemical engineering department of IIT Roorkee. Most of the course structure are similar to chemical engineering. There are C

No, polymer science and technology is not the core branch. It is a derived branch of chemical engineering and material engineering. There are only 3 core branches namely ME, CV and EE.
