Is Polytechnic Diploma in Engineer Equal to B.Sc in Electonics?
I did 3yrs Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engg. From Gov.t Polytechnic Sonepat In Haryana after 10th & Passed out in the year 2008.
Presently i am working as an Automation Engg. I just Saw on the Wikipedia link under the heading

I'm karam singh i have done my politechnic Diploma with Electronics & Comm.Engg.i did my 10+2 with arts i obtained just 45% number in +2 So please tell me can i fill up the form of bank clerk and PO or not

ok i do agree with the discussion above.But we do not even have one valid university is India which considers 3Years Diploma in Engineering Equivalent to Graduation.When it is equal overseas why not in india?

diploma is not equivalent to UG so u must have to do UG(graduation ) then only u can go for further PG courses

The reply of basic discussion point is the MBA on experience basis is available for both Diploma and degree, but the work experience required in case of diploma is more.

@anjali: Thanks for your suggestion but for your kind information many Indian Universities have already updated themselves for the same in concern of my query & according to there follow up, they are ready to give me admission in MBA on the basis of Polytechnic Diploma Itself.

As per the regulation of higher education in India you are treated as 10+2 pass candidate so you are not eligible for MBA. It is very clear as per your logic is concern it reflects achieve your goal any way. As per equviliency rules is concern Polytechnic diploma passed candidate is eligible to ap

Both are Different. As per the study the Diploma Engineering is more than B.Sc., as well as practical knowledge aspect. The B.Sc. electronics is not suitable for jobs. mainly more and more companies expect diploma holders only.
In equivalence aspect both are eligible for B.E., admission in Tamilnad
