Is possible there any Substitute IC for LM311?

making a auto power cutoff circuit. It needs LM311 ic.Can I use LM393 as substitute for LM311?If no, please mention is there any Substitute IC for LM311?

In most cases you can use one section of an LM393 dual comparator as a substitute for a LM311 single comparator. The main difference is the lack of offset balance and strobe controls which your auto power off circuit probably doesn't require anyway. The pinouts are different so you'll have to take t
