    PPG College of Nursing, established in 1998 is a constituent unit of the renowned charitable trust, i.e. PPG Trust. The college is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai. Further, the college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and the Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council (TNNMC).
