Is Prakasam Engineering College a known institute?

<p>Prakasam Engineering College (PEC) is worth the praise mostly in the region because of its strong engineering emphasis and a healthy academic atmosphere. Although the college does not have the same pan-India appeal as some of the best engineering colleges in India, it is still quite a popular option among the students in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The college has several undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses with a decent infrastructure which comprises laboratories, a library and sportsmanship too.</p><p>With known companies like Cognizant and IBM coming for placements and other activities, the PEC has a pretty good standing concerning its faculty, campus facilities as well as placements. Although not known as some other bigger institutions, PEC must be considered a viable option for the people in this area where quality engineering schools are rather few.</p>
