Is private university a better option to pursue engineering degree abroad?

If you are having that much money to spend, you can go for it obviously. But, if you are financially weak and good in studies, you should try for govt. colleges.

It is the best, if you are finically strong. There are some state level university, which are also very good.

MIT - Stanford is a private institution.

Yes because MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Priceton, Oxford, Cambridge, California institute of technology are the best in the world. Because its reasons are - Research, Faculty, Academic performance, Scholarships are better than public universities.

Hi Atul, there is little difference between a private and public university in terms of education quality. You can enroll into either one. Private universities however are more competitive and more expensive compared to the public universities.
