The Providence College of Engineering is not under the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Independent admission process for B.Tech programmes is followed in the college, and it consists of the Kerala Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Entrance Examination for the majority of the seats.

Admissions are split into several quotas, where:

Government Quota: 50% of the seats are filled by centralized allotment from CEE, through the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala, based on KEAM scores.
Management Quota: The college management will fill 35% of the seats based on merit considering both the KEAM rank and the qualifying exami
