    No, both the exams are not easier than the other one. It only depends on the examinee's confidence, and command over the English language. Also, it depends on the person's choice of examination. Pearson Test of English or PTE follows a scoring system done by AI which is unbiased.

    Also, the test results are given within 48 hours of the examination. IELTS is conducted through human interaction, mainly in the speaking part of the examination. IELTS is the traditional way of testing your English language proficiency. PTE is technologically advanced, with the usage of AI, which is impartial.

    Both the PTE Academic and IELTS have been designed to understand the English language proficiency of the candidate. They have been designed to test the writing, speaking reading, and listening skills of the test taker. Hence, both the tests are at par with each other and the candidate should opt for the one he is comfortable in.
