    According to the data available, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is one of the top agricultural universities in India. It is ranked #1849 in Best Global Universities by US News, and is Asia's top-ranked university in the field of agriculture. PAU has also been ranked third in the country in agriculture and allied sectors educational institutes, with Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Delhi at number one and ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute at number two. Overall, PAU has secured 74th rank among top 100 institutes in the country. Therefore, it can be concluded that PAU is one of the best agricultural universities
