Hi, Yes you may surely pursue distance MBA program, however for better career prospects I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years and then opt for distance MBA program as it would further enhance your career prospects. Please remember the distance MBA is best suited for working professional by this they may easily maintain balance between their job and studies. The USP of distance education MBA lies in the fact that it provides job-oriented knowledge that can be immediately practised as one works alongside. The other option for your would be to work for 2-3 years and then opt for full time MBA or PGDM program. The advantage of this step would be: - You will gain relevant work experience. - After working for few years you will know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.However as per your profile pursuing MBA in finance would be the best option for you. - Candidates with work experience will have competitive advantage over other candidates with no work experience during MBA admission. - This work experience of yours will also be an added advantage for you during campus recruitment in MBA, as most companies would surely prefer an experience person over a fresher for a job. - Finally if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
