Dear celestine, I would say, it is good to pursue MCA after pursuing BCA as you will get good job opportunities and better packages. For being eligible to apply for MCA you have to have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you fulfil these criteria you are eligible for MCA. As far as other information regarding MCA is concerned, we would like to state that most of the entrance tests are conducted in April or May. Notifications are out in January or February. Yes, it is absolutely worth doing MCA after doing a BCA because then you have an edge or an advantage as compared to other graduates because now you have a deeper understanding and knowledge on the subjects. In addition to this, If one is interested and good at mathematics and in programming and want to be a software developer then go ahead with MCA but If a candidate do not want to continue with programming language or don't want to be a software developer, just fascinated with the IT sector, then in such case they can opt MBA in Information Technology. Yes, MCA is a good options after BCA.
