    R V Institute of Legal Studies (RVILS) is considered a Tier 2 college. The school has been ranked in several educational surveys and its acclaim is raising day by day. For example, it was ranked 23rd in the IIRF ranking of top private law colleges in India for 2023 and private law college by Outlook as per ICARE Rankings. In spite of its achievements, it is not usually ranked in the top tier (Tier 1) along with India's most well-regarded law schools such as NLSIU or other leading national universities.

    R V Institute of Legal Studies is ranked among the Tier 2 law colleges. It is a good institution in terms of infrastructure and staff, but it isn’t comparable to top-notch law schools like NLSIU, NALSAR or IIT Kharagpur.

    At present, most tier 2 universities are known for offering quality legal education; however, they lack credibility and connectivity to industries as compared to first class institutions.
