Is Rabindranath Tagore University a private university?

Candidates looking forward to admission to various programme offered by Rabindranath Tagore University must fill out the admission form online by going through the official website of the university. The university releases the shortlisted candidates' list based on their performance in the entrance exam. For final admission, the selected candidates must make a fee payment within the given deadline to lock in their final seats.

According to the selection criteria, the candidates must pass Class 12 for admission to UG courses with 45% aggregate and a graduation degree with 50 % aggregate for admission to PG. Additionally, candidates must appear for the entrance exam accepted by the university. The university releases the shortlisted candidates' list based on their performance in the entrance exam. Considering the aggregate of 85%, a candidate affirmatively will be eligible for the primary round of selection. 

RNTU is a private institute, established in 2010, and located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. As a part of the AISECT Group of Universities, the Institute is recognised by UGC and AICTE. Furthermore, it is accredited by NCTE and AIU and offers 80 coursesat the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. It also offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate Diploma courses.

The basic eligibility for all the UG, PG, and doctoral programmes at RNTU Bhopal is merit in the last qualifying examination. However, the selection of candidates for all the courses is basis the scores obtained by the candidates in the AISECT Joint Entrance Exam (AJEE), a university-level entrance exam.
