Jindal University Campus is a home away from home. There has not been a single ragging related incident reported since inception. The multidisciplinary approach to education bring students from different close much closer. The students of different programmes infact get the opportunity to share the hostel room together and get an opportunity to learn about other courses informally. View: (Magnus: http://bit.ly/2CFvHen

In 2009 the University Grants Commission of India imposed regulations upon Indian universities to help curb ragging, and launched a toll-free 'anti-ragging helpline'. Ragging is now defined as an act that violates or is perceived to violate an individual student's dignity. As per UGC regulations, it is mandatory for a college to register an FIR with police against the culprits if any violence, physical abuse, sexual harassment, confinement etc. Takes place with any fresher. After receiving any such complaint from the helpline, it becomes the duty of the head of the institution to register the FIR with police within 24 hours.
