It also helps in development of insecticides, fertilizers and quality of seeds. Scope of biotechnology is rising in certain fields which includes : -Gene therapy -Tissue culture -Genetic Engineering -Stem cell techniques -New DNA technologies -Immunotechnologies -Photosynthetic efficiency -Enzyme engineering and technology -Plant-based drugs -Rational drug design Career Prospects after B.Tech in Biotechnology : Biotechnology is ranked second as a growth sector after multimedia industry with a tremendous employment potential.
