<p>Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology or RIT is in the second tier of colleges. That is why, although it cooperates with Anna University, provides qualitative infrastructures, experienced faculties, and sound industrial relations, it does not have a widespread reputation across the country as other Tier 1 universities. This college does not disappoint with more than 80% placement record in most of the B.Tech programs especially in IT and engineering fields. Major recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc., and the average package offered to the students hover around Rs. 4 LPA- Rs. 5 LPA. It is highly regarded in this region due to its philosophy of enhancing academic discovery and real world experience.</p>
