    Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology or RIT is in the second tier of colleges. That is why, although it cooperates with Anna University, provides qualitative infrastructures, experienced faculties, and sound industrial relations, it does not have a widespread reputation across the country as other Tier 1 universities.
