Is RGUKT (IIIT Basara) Tier 1 or Tier 2?

RGUKT Basara is a Tier 2 institution. RGUKT was established in the year 2008 and hence has been offering quality technical education primarily to rural students. The university offers an integrated six-year B.Tech course with a two-year pre-university course. Emphasis shall be given to practical, hands-on learning, and industrial connections. Also, its placement records are good, with graduates getting reasonably good salary packages.

RGUKT (IIIT Basara) is considered as the Tier 2 college. However, it is constantly enhancing itself it terms of better education and better placement opportunities. It may get placed in Tier 1 soon but right now RGUKT (IIIT Basara) is claimed to be a Tier 2 University/ college.
