The Institute is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, and is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
UGC, New Delhi and Shivaji University Kolhapur, conferred Autonomous status to K.E. Society's Raja
