First and foremost, RNS insitute of technology is not an autonomous university, it is affiliated under VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). Any degree persued in this college will get you a degree from VTU.
As far as the question of how good this college is, it depends on the course which is being offered in this college, if you are getting something based on your merit, then you can opt for this college considering this is your only best way.

Teaching is very good and the faculty members help in resolving each issues of student. Our college has quite a good environment surrounded by greenery and the best thing is it has a temple.According to me, the RNSIT is better option cause the overall value of that college is good like academics and placement. The placement is great in this college with the average package of 4 Lacs per annum.The placements in our institution are very good.Being at RNSIT has been a wonderful experience which is full of learning and grooming.
