Is SAGE University private or government university?

SAGE University is a private university. SAGAR Group of Educational Society (SAGE) University Indore was set up as a private University by the Madhya Pradesh Private University ACT in 2007. In 15 diverse institutions, SAGE University provides more than 100 UG, PG Certificate and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of fields, including Applied Sciences, Agriculture, Computing, Engineering and Technology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Banking, and Finance. Both online and offline applications are accepted at the university. SAGE University admissions are based on merit in the last qualifying examination or Joint Entrance Examination (SAGE-JEE SEE conducted by the university. The University also has another campus in Bhopal. SAGE University Indore offers up to 100% scholarships and scholarships worth INR 2 crore have been disbursed by the University to date.
