No, it is not mandatory to have studied Sanskrit in class 12th in order to be eligible for the admission in this course

It is mandatory to include the subject that you are going to pursue in your graduation in your best 4. If you're applying for University of Delhi if you're applying for Sanskrit honors, it is compulsory to add Sanskrit in your best 4 failing which 2.5 percent would be deducted from your total best o
