    The minimum eligibility is 45 % marks for General category and 40 % marks for Reserved Category students in order to participate for admission in BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. In order to sit for placements, a minimum of 7 CGPA is required from the students of this stream and some additional skills, so that they can be placed easily. Its record for placements is pretty decent and about 90% of the students are placed every year.
